Transport chairs are light-weight and have a collapsible frame and fold-down back to fit in a car trunk, or behind the seat. These wheelchairs require a companion to push from behind, and are perfect to use on trip to the store, or doctor’s visit. Transport chairs have four smaller wheels and a compact frame to fit through narrow doorways. Some of our models convert from transport to standard wheelchair using modular wheels and frame mounts. This makes it easier to go over curbs and stairs.

Transport wheelchairs or companion chairs are companion wheelchairs where the purpose is for a companion to push the user.
